Bobs Gas and Cylinder Services is an IANZ (International Accreditation NZ) accredited laboratory capable of testing domestic (home or personal use), automotive and industrial gas cylinders (hospitality, trade, and health & safety industries).

Our cylinder testing services include:
– LPG Testing – The old saying of “It’s probably cheaper to buy a new one” does not apply here. Having your old cylinder tested is cheaper than buying a new one and is far better for the environment and if the cylinder fails the test, then you pay nothing!
– LPG Filling – We provide a full 9Kg cylinder filling service covering all valve types (unlike some other fill stations).
– Scuba and Breathing Apparatus – Bobs Gas and Cylinder Services Hydrostat and Visually test dive cylinders along with BA (Breathing Apparatus) cylinders including carbon fibre composite cylinders. We also operate our own clean air filling station.
– Fire Equipment – Bobs Gas and Cylinder Services test, recharge and service a full range of fire equipment including many industrial applications.
Did you know, you dont need to replace your fire extinguishers every 5 years? We can test your fire extinguisher so you can reuse it. You can stay compliant by bringing your fire extinguishers straight to us. We do annual service checks and we even collect from your place.
– Paintball Cylinders – Carbon Dioxide – Bobs Gas and Cylinder Services are able to test and fill a range of CO2 cylinders for varying applications, Industrial, Hospitality (including Soda Stream), Recreation. We use food grade CO2 for all home brew co2 cylinders and home carbonated drinks cylinders. Often we can fill these while you wait.

– REFRIGERANT CYLINDER TESTING – We test all sizes of refrigerant cylinders and we have an AGas cylinder drop off cage for all single use cylinders.
